Some of director Ron Howard’s best work is his realization of real life events; Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, Frost/Nixon. Now Rush, his 2013 motorsport biopic, can not only proudly join that list, but also be considered one of the best films of the year. Spoilers ahead.
So as I said last week I have an abundance of movies that I’ve never actually bothered to watch. I have since resolved to unearth these unknown nuggets week by week, and then report back here.
You know, I’ve never appreciated Chuck Norris. On paper, he’s as badass as they come; black belts in multiple disciplines, roles in countless action movies alongside the crème-de-la-crème of action heroes, a fine beard etc. But I’ve always regarded him as a bit silly, a bit ridiculous, a bit Steven Seagal.
