It’s that time of year again: San Diego Comic Con is on and the trailers are coming. This year we’ve got a whole plethora of comic-book-turned-movie-adaptions. We’ve got a lot of sequels and a lot of reboots. But there are also some original hidden gems, like The Man From U.N.C.L.E...wait, no that’s a reboot. Okay, how about Goosebumps? Shit, that’s an adaption, right?!

Yeah, so there’s lots of upcoming movies about stuff we already know about. Yet, that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited. Oh no, there’s still plenty to get your knickers all nice and moist over.

New Guardians of the Galaxy Trailer Has Talking Racoons and Trees

Marvel have had a good year so far. Not only have they smashed the box office with Amazing Spiderman 2, the Avengers universe has also reached new heights with Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier.

And it seems they’re keeping their foot firmly on the gas now as Agents of SHIELD is renewed for season 2, and this years new entry, Guardians of the Galaxy, has it’s second trailer released. Watch it below.

Godzilla (2014) Full Trailer Released

After many cool teasers, posters, sound bites, and press, the trailer for Gareth Edward’s (Monsters) take on Godzilla has finally been revealed. Released on May 16th, the film promises to deliver plenty of destruction, mayhem none meth related Breaking Bad soliloquies from Bryan Cranston. However this isn’t the first time the Major’s have tried their hand at the classic Japanese franchise.

Superbowl 2014 Trailers

So Denver got denied in a one-sided rout by Seattle. While the game was little more than an exercise in futility for the Bronco’s, we did at least get the half-time show – where The Red Hot Chilli Peppers played a bit of a song, and left the majority of the responsibility on the teeny-tiny shoulders of Bruno Mars. But we also got some cool new trailers (unless you lived outside of the US).

Escape Plan Trailer

Stallone and Schwarzenegger alone at last. Expendables was good but…expendable. The sequel was better. Their recent solo efforts were shit canned to the box office flop list but I can honestly say I enjoyed them. It was crazy watching Arn bodyslam someone a quarter of his age whom was trying to go all Jiu-Jitsu on him. I liked that little homage to Rampage Jackson.
